Directors:Luca Raphael Mengisen
Luca Raphael Mengisen was born in Biel, Switzerland, in 1994. After training as a graphic designer he began a BA in film at the ZHdK (Zurich University of the Arts). He mainly focuses on the visual aspects of film (camera and light).
Dimitra Charamandas
Dimitra Charamandas, born 1988 in Solothurn (Switzerland), is a Swiss-Greek visual artist living and working between Solothurn and Athens. Her practice foregrounds the sensory and the tactile and encompasses painting, video, text, sculpture, and community gatherings around shared meals. She completed an MA in fine arts at the Institute Art Gender Nature Basel in 2022. «Sun Burn» was made in international collaboration. Since 2018, she has been part of the Quince Collective and of Espacio Pacha.
Julie Olympia Cahannes
Julie Olympia Cahannes was born in Chur (Switzerland) in 1997. Since 2019 she has been directing and writing socially critical and funny material. Since 2020, she has been a writer at the Rage Collective. She received her BA in film from ZHdK (Zurich University of the Arts) in 2022, followed by an internship at SRF Fiktion with a focus on writers' room and script analysis. The short film «Sun Burn» (2023) was made in international collaboration.
Irene Trujillo
Irene Trujillo was born in Manizales, Colombia, and graduated in fine arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2017. She has been based in Barcelona since 2019. Her work includes interactions between sculpture, drawing, photography, and installation. In recent years, she has worked and cofounded several collectives in Mexico, France, Greece, and Switzerland, aiming to establish cultural ties through shared dialogue, food, movement, and space exploration. «Sun Burn» is the result of the work of Cicada Collective.
