Winterthur, September 2022
General conditions
Tickets for Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur (IKW) are sold directly by the festival. Net Oxygen Sàrl is the festival’s ticketing system partner. The terms and conditions of IKW apply.
IKW and its partners strive to offer smooth and professional ticketing services. However, there is no guarantee for the availability and functionality of the ticketing system. IKW and its partners are not liable for any damage caused by outside influence, force majeure, or system malfunction.

Tickets
Online tickets (purchased through Print@Home or at external sales points) are available up to one hour before the start of each screening. After that point, tickets will only be available from the festival box office.
The purchaser (customer) assumes all responsibility for their ticket. The ticket must be presented upon entering the event venue and when requested by the organizer. Tickets may be printed on white paper or presented on an electronic device. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure the readability of the QR code on the printed ticket and/or the functionality of the electronic device for scanning purposes. The purchaser bears all risk of loss or theft of tickets; there is no right to refund in the case of loss.
IKW reserves the right to deny customers access to event venues for any reason, even when they have a valid ticket.
Ticket sales
Tickets can be purchased online, from Tourist Information, or from the festival box office at blue Cinema Maxx and Kino Cameo. Festival pass vouchers purchased in pre-sales must be exchanged for a personal festival pass at the accreditation desk at Museum Schaffen (festival pass vouchers do not allow access to screenings). Box office opening hours: Wed–Sun from 10:00
Fees
There are no additional fees for tickets purchased through Print@Home or at the festival box office. Tickets purchased at external sales points may incur extra charges.
Exchanges and refunds
IKW cannot exchange or refund any tickets.
Discounts
IKW offers discounted tickets to students, senior citizens, customers of Zürcher Kantonalbank, and holders of a Tages-Anzeiger carte blanche*. To qualify for a discount, visitors must present a valid ID or relevant card (Zürcher Kantonalbank card, Carte Blanche*) in their name when buying their tickets and when admitted to the screening. The discount is for one person only and cannot be combined with other discounts. Discounted tickets are non-transferable.
*There are only a limited number of discounted tickets for carte blanche holders.
Doors and admission
Doors open about 30 minutes before the start of the screening. Seats are not numbered. Unclaimed tickets/reservations lose their validity at the scheduled showtime; they cannot be claimed at a later time. Please be on time. After the start of the screening, admission is only possible in the breaks between individual films. Empty seats will be sold at the scheduled showtime.
