FOCAL Script Coaching
The Script Coaching for short film projects is presented by Kurzfilmtage in collaboration with FOCAL. It offers six to eight Swiss authors/directors an opportunity to receive professional feedback on their short film scripts during free coaching sessions.
The Pitch
One pitching session, two awards. Six Swiss projects in development pitch in front of an industry audience and a jury. One project will be selected for participation in European Short Pitch and will benefit from a scriptwriting workshop, production and pitching training, mentoring sessions, and participation in the Coproduction Forum. Another project will be awarded a Project Development Residency sponsored by P.AiR.S. The residency consists of a seven-week stay in Sigriswil in January and February.
Postproduction Award
Kurzfilmtage presents the Postproduction Award donated by Jingle Jungle Tonstudio. The award consists of postproduction services worth CHF 10 000.– (including VAT). The awarded postproduction services consist of dialogue/soundtrack editing, dubbing, sound design, foley, sound mixing, and music composition.
Would You Buy This?
Kurzfilmtage presents the event Would You Buy This?. It offers short film directors an opportunity to present the first three minutes of a current project to experts who work in acquisitions, sales, and distribution. Prominent industry representatives watch the clips and assess the films’ market potential. The event simulates a realistic situation in the film industry, demonstrating how professionals evaluate films submitted to them.
