Kurzfilmtage awards cash and in-kind prizes with a total value of CHF 69 000.–. Under certain conditions, films from the Kurzfilmtage competitions qualify for nomination consideration for the Oscar®, the BAFTA Award, the European Film Award (candidacy), and the Swiss Film Award.
Submission Competitions
Short films of all genres no longer than 30 minutes (International Competition) or 40 minutes (Swiss Competition) and no older than 2023 can be submitted until 14 July 2024 for the competitions of the 28th Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur (5–10 November 2024). Please read the competition regulations carefully before submitting.
